Spanish Immersion Program 

Thanks for your interest in my program my name is Monica I have a Bachelors in Education concentration in Early Childhood Education from the Pontifical Catholic University in Perú my home country.  In the city of Lima Perú, I worked for seven years in prestigious international and International Baccalaureate Organization Schools (IBO).                                  

On the year 2012 I traveled to North Carolina to teach Spanish in Kindergarten for Johnston County Public Schools and on 2014 I worked for a well-known Spanish Immersion Preschool in the Triangle for five years.

I hold credentials in Early Childhood Education by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education.  A Level III Administration Certification in Early Childhood and the North Carolina Early Educators Certification Level 12 for Early Childhood and School Age.  

I have a training in Montessori Pre Primary Education with Mrs. Karen Tyler A.M.S., and also studies from the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies in Mesa Arizona (Association Montessori Internationale, AMI). CPR training and experience teaching English and Spanish as a second or foreign language.  

I have been a member of The Society for Research in Child Development, and I am a current member of the American Montessori Society.  (AMS)
